Is the Galaxy Fit3 compatible with iPhone?

By Axel Chávez ·

Short answer

Yes. The Samsung Galaxy Fit3 (SM-R390) works with iPhone through Fit3 Bridge, an independent app that connects to the band directly over Bluetooth. It isn't compatible with Samsung's apps: Galaxy Wearable doesn't exist for iPhone.

Why does Samsung say it isn't compatible with iOS?

Samsung sets up the Fit3 with Galaxy Wearable, which is Android-only. The iPhone app "Samsung Galaxy Fit" (formerly Gear Fit) only supports up to the Fit2. That's why the box says Android 10 or later and stores tell you it won't work. But the band itself uses standard Bluetooth: the limit was the app, not the hardware.

Which iPhones does it work with?

Any iPhone with iOS 17 or later: iPhone XS, XR, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and SE (2nd generation and later). Notifications from other apps need iOS 27.

How much does it cost?

Fit3 Bridge has a 3-day free trial with everything unlocked. If it's useful, it's a one-time purchase at your local App Store price, no subscription. It works with any Galaxy Fit3 you bought on Amazon, Best Buy or anywhere else, as long as it's model SM-R390.
